These dipshits run our lives

Well, the book of faces sucks big time, I'm banned from Twitter until the sun burns out, in fact, Jack Dorsey prolly has a protective order in place.
At any rate, if this is the only venue I can use to advance traditional values and slap a few enlightened lefties around, got to take advantage of it.
It's just business, nothing personal.

Am I the only person here that has never put anything on Twitter?

Likewise. I've never had an account. Now and then I look at DJT's twitter feed, but outside of that I have no use for Twitter.

I've never looked at Instagram. I truly wish I could say that about porn.

I do have a FB account which is good for the Oklahoma historical groups I belong and enjoying the meltdowns by the dumb chicks at work (in their night gowns). I rarely post anything there, and I have everything turned off on my page.

Life was better before cell phones and the Internet.

I have an account here and LinkedIn. And I never go to LinkedIn but needed it for work.
No Book of Faces, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, Snap, Grinder, er... what were we talking about?

But it does beg the question... would we rather get our news from... corporations?

The only social media I look at is if it's a link in something I'm reading. I have never actively searched for something.

Twitter is awesome! You totally control your content. If you don’t like something, unfollow. It’s an amazing way to get breaking news and first person accounts. Notre Dame is a perfect example of this.

Now it can get overwhelming. I go in and cull who I follow regularly.

Twitter is the best way to get an amalgamation of instant news and analysis, but it’s a lot of work to get it fine tuned to be useful instead of an echo chamber for one’s own confirmation bias.

There are some great straight shooters out there if you look for them. And some sources which may be biased but have been 100% correct for 2 years.

The lot of work part is why I never got an account. Anything on Twitter that is news worthy gets out soon enough for me.
