The Walking Dead 2/14/16

Someone tweeted that Daryll blew up her ovaries when he blew up the bikers. I LOLed

wow Sunday night was awesome. I am surprised you would stop watching after the last episode.

My one complaint though.... Why use a RPG to light a lake on fire when a match or a molotov cocktail would do the same job and you would save an RPG?

For whatever reason I just find the show pretty boring, not to mention about 2 or 3 times an episode something so illogical happens it throws me completely off. The show is just wildly inconsistent. About one episode a half season will be great, a couple will be awful and the rest will be meh.

I don't think it is a bad show but there are so many good shows on TV that I find the Walking Dead becoming a real slog to get through. I was pumped to watch it last night because I saw a ton of best episode ever tweets. I thought the standoff in the first 5 minutes was great. Overall I didn't think it was bad but I didn't love it either.

I don't know, maybe because I have a decent idea where the characters are going the stakes aren't as high for me. By the way I know I'm in the vast minority with my opinion.

Because it is a lot more fun to use an RPG.....

Seriously though, A match might be a bit dangerous as you might get caught in the fire. Molotov cocktail would work, but they were in a hurry and would have had to take time to find what they need to make one. The RPG was right at their fingertips and the quickest way to get it done.

I'm close to cutting the chord on this one.
I am with you. I haven't enjoyed the show since season 3. Season 4 was awful. I can't stop watching though. I've invested too much time. Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones were the only shows I hated so much I just stopped watching in the middle.

First time I have heard someone try to say that they watch this show because of logical or illogical plot lines. In my op you could pretty much throw logic out the window episode 1 season 1. I thought that last nights episode was one of the better ones for the entire series.

I don't watch specifically for logical plot lines. It would just be nice if every once in a while logic existed in this universe.

Sound to me like this is a big part of your problem. I haven't read the graphic novels and try hard to stay away from spoilers. I think I would enjoy it less if I knew significant parts of the plot ahead of time.

I'm a religious follower of the comic book since Issue #1. It doesn't lessen my enjoyment for some reason. I enjoy noting the differences between the two, I guess.

I am about to start the books on this one since GRRM has pulled back the release date on WOW. Will they still be worth the read? Are they even better then the show?

Plus I think the noise from the RPG helped distract the herd. Best episode in a long time IMO.

This was the only reason I could see where it was practical. Also it was cool seeing D blasting RPG's.

I think they are still worth the read.

Better is a value judgment of the individual. They are different in tone....actually much darker and more bleak than the tv show.
