Poor critters must get exhausted defending the indefensible.
Of course they took Independence Day off. It's not like it's Juneteenth or something.
Theyāre in mourning. Everyone else is out celebrating the birth of the country they hate most.
The Fourth of July is about pride in the United States, celebrating America being the greatest nation on earth, and honoring our great history. You know, all the things libs hate or wonāt admit.
This might be the saddest thread I've ever seen.
Gentlemen, the fourth of July is about freedom, family, food and fun. And maybe that other f-word.....fishing. It's not about wasting time on a message board. This board is simply a diversion. None of this is important, it's just mindless entertainment.
If you're elderly or disabled or a shut-in, I apologize. But if you're healthy on the fourth of July weekend and living on this board........Go Outside!!! GET A LIFE!
Throw the ball with the grandkids - cook some steaks with your kids - wax your old car - call an old friend - shoot some fireworks - work in the flowerbed - go to a movie - give the old lady some action - SOMETHING - ANYTHING but living on the internet.
You live in the greatest country in the world and you're not even celebrating it.

Maybe you don't understand the concept of internet on the go with cell phones today. I can literally access the internet anywhere I go and respond to a post at any time of day. You should upgrade your brick phone.

Moobs posted this at 2:17 am in the morning of July 5th when we were all outside grilling food, shooting off fireworks, throwing a ball, working in the garden and fishing.
Spent all four days with my kids, grandson, family and friends hanging out by the pool like we do every year. Even ubered out my 91 year old father in law for a few hours so he could enjoy the holiday. Smoked two briskets, 13 racks of ribs, a pork butt along with hamburgers, hotdogs, all kinds of sides and a few adult beverages. Watched fireworks shows from our backyard each night and went to another show last night. Managed to do all of that and watch the board at the same time but then again I have a little ADD.
Pellets or briquettes ? My Mrs bought me a big ass Traeger some years back that is damn slow, I wish it would have been a green egg
I've used all kinds of different smokers over the years. everything from traditional stick burners to pellet grills. My favorite and what I use now is a couple of inexpensive Masterbuilt propane smokers. Much easier, less work and once I figured it out I can get the same results on them as I could get on any other smoker.

Haven't tried a propane smoker. Does it use pellets or something else for the actual smoke? I have an electric pellet smoker and love it. Stick burners can make smoke more intense or impactful to the flavor than pellets, but they require management whereas my electric pellet smoker holds temp automatically.
Wood chips or chunks in a metal wood box directly over the flame. I don't like the pellet grills because they are electric and the pellets absorb moisture when left in the hopper. Hell I can make my own wood chips and if I need something like apple, cherry or pecan I can pick that up at any Walmart or most grocery stores.
I realize there are a lot of grill options available, but I'll always stand by Hasty-Bake. As a member of the 2016 championship team at the H-B Cookoff (beat 40 teams/first time competition) I do know a little bit about grilling - said with no modesty. 
I readily admit I'm lazy when it comes to cooking. Give me something I can set the temp, leave it and not worry about it and I'm golden. Stick and charcoal burners require more work than I'm looking to do.I realize there are a lot of grill options available, but I'll always stand by Hasty-Bake. I've thought about making my own propane smoker but I'm not any further than the thinking part.
