Let's venture into a new conspiracy theory.

What are the odds that Clapper and Co. are still lying to us and were actually recording all our calls and that's where the "content" of the Flynn scandal comes from?

Maybe he didn't think anything he talked about was a problem.

Funny how the who and when have been leaked and that certain topics were discussed but no transcript of what was actually said has been leaked.

Yeah I'm aware of this. But the crux of this is that the communication has to pass through a switch abroad somewhere. If the Russian Ambassador is stateside, we're talking about an entirely different ballgame.

Is Flynn talking to the Russian ambassador so much different than Obama communicating with the mullahs of Iran in 2008 while running for President and telling them to hold out against the Bush Administration's attempts to make a deal (which would require that they quit enriching uranium) because he would negotiate a better agreement?
