Note that the settlement explicitly states that there is no admittance to wrong-doing. SO by definition, he isn't guilty of having done anything. Also remember, if the case was stronger, the NY DAs (who strongly oppose Trump) wouldn't have been quick to actually take the settlement. They could have pushed back but then they also knew they ran a real risk of losing.
