The Phobia(s) That May Destroy America

It’s also a cultural lifestyle very few people in those yankee/liberal shitholes actually understand.

When people ask me what makes rural areas in any part of the US special I always respond with things I’ve seen. For instance I once was behind a guy on some rural highway in western OK (sorry don’t remember the number, but was around Taloga) upon seeing an upcoming funeral procession he stopped his truck, got out and put his hat over his heart until the procession had passed and then saddled back up. I stopped but didn’t get out thinking that the guy knew the deceased but could not attend the funeral. The next town (Seiling I believe) we both stopped st the same station for gas. I mentioned seeing him and offered my condolences for his friend. He said “son that wasn’t anyone I knew, I just stopped out of consideration for the deceased, his family and the loss to the community.” When I tell my yankee friends that they simply think it’s BS. But the gentleman said “that’s what we do out here....”

Have also hear of people stopping to help a stranded motorist and then not letting the motorist pay for the gas they needed, even a tow once. When I mention any of these things my yankee friends invariably say “if you did that where I lived you get robbed, shot etc etc.”

They have no idea what people do for their fellow man expecting nothing in return and most of the time wanting no recognition for the good deed they have done. I think of tornado cleanups, donations after devestating fires/floods and simply being a kind helpful resource for someone less fortunate or in need of an immediate hand.

The big city Yankees think (generally) they are more cultured, sophisticated and worldly than some redneck Christian from small town flyover USA....I try to always confirm their bias as well by stating that traffic can be held up for days from Buffalo herds and that yes we still have native Americans roaming the plains with bows and arrows. Not really sure anyone believes me, but hopefully they stay were they are and continue to see us as the brainwashed Christian rednecks they believe we are, and who knows maybe I’ve even prevented a few of them moving here and upsetting the natural national voting order :).

That reminds me of the true story of the football player from Oklahoma that played his college ball at UCLA. He would tell his friends that to get home he’d fly to Denver and from there he’d take the stage coach to OKC and they believed him!
