Right? Two things are implicit in that statement.
1. Conservatism requires deception to prevail;
2. Conservatism is nothing more than the math of self interest. If you think it will help you, lie.
@CBradSmith why would a reasonable observer ever find credible the opinions or facts offered from someone that unabashedly deceives as a general rule?

I can remember when religious conservatives were offended at "situational morality" and "moral relativism." Ya'll have now leapfrogged any pretense of having some internal morality beyond self interest. A MAJORITY of republicans don't even think honesty ranks as very important.
