Hello Cowboy wrestling fans.
This Saturday I will walk out my front door in Cedar Rapids, IA and begin walking to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, IA - roughly 70 miles. I'm hoping to raise awareness about Wrestling for Life's commitment to the future of wrestling. Our mission is simple - we want to get more kids on the mat and keep them there.
Yes, our roots are in Iowa, but we have grown over the years. In the past we have provided free tickets to Cowboy duals in Stillwater. Last year we provided tickets and help with travel expenses so that a club from Edmond could attend Grapple on the Gridiron. We've also started helping Mary Jo McDaniel with her effort to get wrestling shoes to financially challenged Oklahoma middle schools.
