in what can be a pretty (purposely) confusing story, this article does a fantastic job of connecting the dots on how McCabe, Yates and others in the FBI/DOJ pounced on a discrepancy between a misspeak by Pence during a CBS interview - and Flynn’s accurate accounting of Flynn’s (wholly appropriate) conversation with Kysliac - and leveraged Flynn into a lose-lose situation where he had to choose between calling Pence a liar (and his son facing indictment) or “admitting” he himself lied to the FBI.
