The difference between “us” and “them”

Not one problem with it. Marksmanship used to be institutionally taught all the time. There's a federal civilian marksmanship program that used to hand out surplus garands.

My beef is rapid fire, high capacity guns that give any simpleton or gangsta the instant power to kill 25 people.

The world has changed. In high school we used to dove hunt before and after school and carry our shotguns in our trucks and nobody said a thing. Nobody knew what an AR was, either. I remember eating bfast at a table of Vietnam vets in the early 80'sish and someone mentioned seeing either an AK or AR at a gun show and the prevailing sentiment was that was nuts, what practical reason is there for having that kind of firepower? That always stuck with me. They were right, since then the AR has been in a disproportionate amount of mass shootings and taken on its own iconography.

That’s because the M16 was dogshit and every Vietnam Vet knew that.

“Do they go straight from their gun marksmanship training to their active shooter drills?” asked one commenter.

🤣
Love it. It’s why I get such a kick when the crocodile tears flow from the left over some contrived nonsense.

As the holder of an expert marksman medal from my OSU ROTC days, I feel cheated. Never progressed to "active shooter" drills, except for snakes in Ranger Creek. Damn, where did I go right.

Excuse me! I smoked a 0.6 GPA my second semester sophomore year and joined the Navy. After boot camp and school in San Diego, I spent 3 1/2 years on NAS Norfolk and killed every f*cking Viet Cong that ever came close to the Acey Deucey club which was about 30 seconds out the back door of my office!

I had the good sense to wait until my junior year first semester. Enrolled and paid but never went to class and never dropped out, too busy drinking and chasing tail, got a 0.0 and received a friendly phone call from Uncle Lyndon telling me he knew was was best for me.

I may have missed a few classes during my 0.6 - lol. My claim to fame was having the lowest one semester GPA in Deloitte's Dallas office the entire time I worked there. On the bright side, I was also their first ever 5 year audit manager (normally 6 years), so I guess things balanced out.

An opinion that I can respect. Respect doesn’t have to equate to agreement.

You get a “like”.

Good night, counselor.

Kick in my front door at 2:00 am with five of your drugged-up buddies and learn the answer to this question. What a numbskull.
Lol what a badass.

You'd shoot yourself. My suggestion for you would be stay in bed and let the Mrs. handle it.

Syskatina hasn't handled a firearm in her lifetime. She referred to a magazine as a "banana clip" after claiming to own more than 30 guns.
Confession time, I still will refer to a magazine as a “clip” from time to time. But I went to HS in Lawton so I feel like I should get a pass because of hoodrat shit.

Do you claim to own 30 guns? Using "clip" isn't an issue unless you're a self-proclaimed gun nut.
