For better or worse, college football is no longer anything like what we grew up on. Whether you're at Oklahoma St now or were a student 70 years ago. This is a new era. I think the majority of us all think it sucks compared to what we know it as, but the new era is here. Just like the horse buggy owner when the Model T came out. That's where we are at. Some of us will choose not to adapt and stop following our beloved OSU (probably those towards the end of life). I'm still young enough to where I'm going ****'ing try my hardest to keep supporting what i think is the best University in America. But f'ck me if it doesn't feel right. We were all at OSU at one time or another. We saw our players around campus, we played pick up ball with them at the Colvin. They were one of us...A cowboy that loved our school and what we represented. James Washington, Barry Sanders, Malcolm Rodriguez, Brandon Weeden, Lane Taylor, Russell Okung, Thurman Thomas, etc. The list goes on. However, college football is no longer about the university. It's about the player at the university. Each and every single one of us would act accordingly if we were playing. This sport is anything but guaranteed. Look at Kye Staley, Trace Ford, etc. It makes sense to get 100k here, 250k there or even a $1 million. You have to. We would all be dumb not to. But that doesn't mean several thing can be true at once.

2. We would all chase life changing money in a sport that guarantees nothing but physical breakdown.

It is what it is. It msucks. But now Have to find our place on the food pyramid like we almkrrways have and go after P5 players that love football and are hungry for
