I was fairly young when Bill Nye's show first debuted on PBS and used to watch it all the time as a kid. It was great at introducing kids to basic scientific concepts, and he seemed like such a nice guy.
It's sad that this is what he's become.
The left uses global warming as settled science, but yet we all know if you are born a man or woman by your chromosomes but yet settled science is not allowed to determine what bathroom you should use. Libs want to debate if you are a man or woman, this is settled scientific fact. Total hypocrites.
Whenever I hear about "settled science" it reminds me of my organic chemistry professor. Several times over that year when he was teaching from the textbook he'd discuss a certain reaction or process and say, "that was what used to be believed until I proved them wrong."It's with this insistence that the science is settled that I have a problem. My understanding is that no science is ever settled. The glory of science is that skeptics abound, constantly looking for flaws in theories. I suppose it's true that the earth is experiencing climate change. To what extent it is caused by human activity who knows? When the ardent advocates of climate change insist the "science is settled" one can only wonder what their true motives are.
