This looks like an exceptionally strong year for LB's in the Big 12. We know how good and how deep our LB corp is but there are a bunch of outstanding LB's around the league Eric Striker returns at uo but their best LB will be Frank Shannon. He has the size and speed to play at the next level. Most fans do not realize it but Baylor has a Fr AA returning at LB in Taylor Young. The kid had a great year as a freshman and should only be better. Maybe the best returning LB is Nick Kwiatkoski at W Va. He is a stud. TT picked up a 5 star transfer from Ohio St who is eligible this year. His name is Mike Mitchell and he has great size and range. The 5 star true Fr at ut(Malik Jefferson) looked good in the spring game. He may not start the first game but he will be a starter by Big 12 time. It sure looks like the DC's around the Big 12 decided it is high time to upgrade the defensive side of the ball.
