Sort of related with Google's use of algorithms to inflict their harm and give plausible deniability for their de-platforming of conservatives, they agreed to pay a multimillion dollar fine for their street view cars harvesting email address and passwords from wifi networks as they drove by. Google may make your life easier but not without invading your privacy.
