I liked a lot of what he said he believed, he was just so awkward and his voice was creepy and he came across as so unlikable.

Conservatism needs to be packaged in a more congenial, attractive package (Reagan or even W. if he were an actual conservative).

Doesn't matter. I'm done with the GOP. I might vote for GOP candidates at times in the future, but I'm no card-carrying Republican.

As Reagan said about the Democratic Party: "I didn't leave them. They left me."

As a principled conservative, I don't have much of a choice. (And I might still vote for Trump, especially if there aren't any legit alternatives.)

There are a lot of idiotic things that get voters attention. Trump's "Lying Ted" line was hard to shake.

Reading Cruz's body language, he was cracking under pressure.
