More empirical evidence of Trumponomics fail. Brilliant sh!t pissing off our allies and bordering trade partners. Truly genius.
Really?
Don’t worry, toon knows where to find them.
From Bloomberg
The American economy roared into overdrive last month, delivering the strongest job gains since February. The report underscored other recent signs of strength, like robust personal income and spending data reported earlier this week. Indeed, by just about any measure, the labor market is very healthy. The unemployment rate for May was at lows not seen since the heady days of the dot-com bubble.
Do not discuss employment numbers on this board. If you have evidence you're employed, I'll change that. You can send me proof via pm.

Watch his speech today. Just try it. It’s 27 minutes long. At the 8:00 to 14:00 part he clearly states multiple times the goal is zero tariffs and free trade. I dare you to watch it and address these specific things without your catchphrases.
“Goals” haha...results matter. So far, Humpty Trumpty’s MO is trade war, period.
What do you want me to say that I haven’t already said dozens of times? Tariffs are bad, they lead to trade wars. Trade wars are worse. No one wins in a trade war. It a measure of which side loses the most. But be advised both sides lose. It would be like OSU winning a bedlam football game, but losing Spencer Sanders and Justice Hill to career ending injury. Who really won? Keep your fingers crossed that cooler heads prevail.I don't have the answers on this trade stuff, but it doesn't look like a great long term value so far. @Ponca Dan @CBradSmith ?

Isn’t it dreadful to think we have willingly given over our fate to these “leaders?” Think about it. If you were stranded on a desert island in the middle of the ocean with any one of these G7 presidents or prime ministers, would you trust them enough to rely on their ideas for your survival? Or would you trust your own instincts and reason, and tell them to pound sand? What is it about us that we give these people such power over our lives?I mean.... it looks that way right now. It looks like a generally destabilizing thing right now.

You’re missing the point. The point is not one of us would turn over the fate of our lives to s single G7 “leader” in a one-on-one situation. Yet we drop trousers and bend over en mass. Don’t you find it a little curious why we do that? The desert island metaphor is irrelevant to avoiding war. We're not picking coconuts.

By allowing our “leaders” to instigate wars and use us as the pawns in their geopolitical games, by paying onerous taxes, by meekly accepting that our leader will tell us with whom we may do business, by following regulations without so much as a whimper, by accepting that “you can’t fight city hall,” by witnessing our government tear children away from their mothers, housing them in glorified concentration camps, and shrugging our shoulders and saying it would probably be better to shoot them, shall I go on?How do we drop trousers and bend over?
Methinks you misunderstand the meaning behind creative destruction.Neither of you need to irrationally fear creative destruction. It's all gonna be okay.
