Tailgating Advice Needed

Looking to add a generator to my tailgate this year and I'm not wanting to break the bank. What kind and how many watts would you all suggest?

Also what is the best way to set up a T.V. at the tailgate? Whats the best service to use? Ball Park what is the cost for a dish or cable (whatever the best service is) subscription for the season?
