I've noticed these popping up in increasing numbers. It seems a little odd that in this era of online shopping, that anyone could compete. Even more, online shopping was already "a thing" in the late 90s/early 2000s when Body for Life and other programs marketing supplements got mainstream popular. Why would someone stop buying their 5lb tub of protein powder online, and go to a brick and mortar? Am I missing something? Deep thoughts on a snow day...

It's all the other supplements people are buying not just protein powder. And most newbies have no clue what diff supplements do. Also those shops tend to have like 1 person working. So you got $10 per hour employee, rent, utilities and products that have long shelf life that you can sell at huge markup

The two I've been in to check out we're both Herbalife fronts.
Sometimes those stores are owned independently by some of the biggest Herbalife distributors (people higher up on the pyramid scheme)
