You see it in nearly every thread about HRC on this board - she is charcterized as being angry, yelling, emotionally rattled, etc.... How much of this is due to cultural stereotypes and how much is really HRC? Studies point to it being the former not the latter...

And please, if you are going to insult me or HRC in your response try and come up with something better than the usual drivel...

If you can't use your own ears to see how shrill and angry she is, I doubt I could convince you otherwise.

Didn't read the Carlos Slim blog you posted, but assume it blames sexim, fear of strong women etc. All horse shit. My apologies for the usual drivel in response to the usual drivel.

Are these acts stereotypes or the real HRC:

-- throwing an ashtray at her husband

-- striking a secret service agent on the head with a Bible

-- telling uniformed while house staff to go fukk themselves when greeted politely.

Tough call, right?

Using studies to try to create a narrative that her behavior isn't responsible for people's well-established, 30 years in the making opinion of her....

Rich.

You may have a point if she was a relative unknown 2 years ago.

Like you haven't had your spouse throw things at you????

At least is wasn't the Koran.

And you can go funk yourself....

I get where you are coming from. Data isn't going to be useful/reaffirming of your current position so avoid it at all costs...

Ignore the process post @davidallen

There's an appropriate way to try to understand causality that isn't the beneficial "disregard the 'snapshot in time' element" bias you seem to be pushing.

Didn't you claim to not have a horse in this race?

Or is this your demonstrated liberal hubris talking down to the proletariat?

You, and this article, are selling horseshit.

That is literally the first thing that came up when I googled it.

She thinks that's what the major sticking point is. She doesn't mention how she is the biggest liar protected by the worlds most powerful people running against a clown of epic proportions and in a dead heat.

It must be sexism.

Sorry I don't consider the candidate herself to be objective, nor her inner circle.

As to horse in the race, was hard Johnson lean- likely still vote that way as a protest but if forced to would go HRC to stop Trump.

Having trouble parsing all but the hubris part of this post... it's early so forgive me.

Thanks for making my point.

Your point, and the points being advanced in at least the 2 articles ("studies") I've read in this thread, are flawed when applied to your candidates "plight."

You continue to not address how her being the most known candidate in a lifetime negates a huge portion of the bias with which you seem to be intent to prop her up.

She didn't magically appear in the public eye 2 years ago.

Yes she is a women and yes people are sexist (look at all the feminists on Twitter), but this goes so far beyond her being female. She is so corrupt it's a miracle she isn't losing by 50 points.

You were voting for Hillary 6 months ago and you will vote for her in November.

Just curious...

Apparently it's not OK to not vote for Hillary because she's a woman. Is it OK to vote for her because she's a woman? In reality, isn't using sex as a basis for anything sexist?

Yes. Just like voting for Obama because he was black was also racist. But, the wink and nod is that only white people can be guilty of racism and only men can be guilty of sexism, because some bullshit or another.

Largely bc those people who prefer to not intrude into the lives of others allow libs to dictate "the rules."

It's the rest of the world's fault that the person who has zero personality and isn't likeable and screeches when making a point is perceived as having zero personality and isn't likeable and screeching when making a point.

Care to apply any of the NYT analysis to Sarah Palin?

A lot of defensiveness ITT - the mere suggestion that some of your perception of HRC could be based on society wide stereotypes brings out all the venom. Interesting...

It's OK for you to vote for whoever you choose for whatever reason you may have. Hair color, chest cavity, whatever... personally, I like to think through what is rational and what is emotional in my own decision making. Perhaps not so much for many here.
