Question: Wouldn't this crime require DB to file charges against Trump for fraud? Unless they file charges, this seems like this could be a way for police to circumvent the 4th amendment (which should scare both lefties and righties). I'm still trying to figure out what the actual crime here is. If he fraudulently reported assets to acquire a loan, then that's fraud, but usually DB would have to report that and NYAG wouldn't need to be subpoena them.
