Started binge watching The Shield on Hulu

That’s one I have heard great things about and never seen a minute. I need to jump on board.
Pretty incredible tv. One of the best anti-heros of all time and probably the most satisfying endings of all the critically acclaimed dramas.
Almost all of the characters are morally gray.
You swing back and forth re: whether you like a character, that's what makes it so great
Then you take a step back and realize the protagonist (Vic) is the biggest villian of them all. The writers make that clear the first episode. Even then, he's so likable, big picture it's easy to root for him.
Started watching the series. Three episodes down. Agree that Mackey is one of the better anti-hero characters that exist. Really good show so far.
My only complaint is that in all 3 episodes, they bring a suspect in for questioning and get them to give up the vital piece of information they need to know. (although, in one case it is because Mackey basically tortures the perpetrator). I know it is early, but they are batting 1000 when bringing a suspect into the station. I'm sure that the actual number of successful interrogations is much lower. I am interested to see if they question a suspect in every episode.

The camera angles they shoot from as an artistic perspective is phenomenal imo.
Not sure they're always successful interrogators. Sometimes things go absolutely sideways.
I'm in the middle of season 2 currently. Loving it. Gets better every show.
