Special Teams Scoring

Gundy has given us a glimpse of how special he believes Carr and McCleskey will be

by naming them as the designated punt/ kick off return men.

Entrusting this responsibility for just fielding the ball

in what can be a disastrous situation if not done by the surest of hands,

Shows his great faith in them as freshmen.

But beyond securing the ball cleanly he believes they both possess

EXPLOSIVE PLAY MAKING ABILITY

with the ball in their hands in the open field.

With Carr's combination of 4.37 speed and his breath taking elusiveness

and McCleskey's team best straight line speed

look for these 2 to put the excitement back in special teams.

The Chipewa's are the first of the early season games where teams will be

Over-matched on speed attempting to corral these 2 play makers,

so look for a TD to be scored Thursday night by at least one of the 2

and potentially 1 in each pre-BIG XII games

With other scores spread throughout the season

and, like the Bedlam game of last year,

To be a game changer in at least one close contest.
