This is nothing. He didn’t report some locker room talk that there was a pervert doc that his teammates couldn’t defend against? These were 20 year old male college athletes capable of defending themselves, not little boys.
If there was anything actually reported at the time to a coach this is on Russ Hellickson, the head coach. The dynamic of a college wrestling team the assistant coaches are just barely above the upperclassmen in hierarchy. In fact it was and may still be very common to hangout socially (team and assistants). Many times the assistants are close to same age as they are training for international competitions. They are basically poorly paid teammates. The media is doing a nice job making him look bad.
