i can prove the land my cherokee ancestors were run off of

then the farm on the grand river at the bottom of grand lake

there was compensation in the process

but the deal was made staring down a barrel

South Africa made a major mistake when they allowed Nelson Mandela and his communist thugs in the ANC control of their country.

You'd think they would have learned the lesson of Rhodesia and what was left in its wake in the ANC controlled Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe is/was a savage beast and the thugs in South Africa aren't any better.

Mandela's first election (1994?) was one of the most scrutinized elections in history.

His arrest and long stay in prison was purely on political grounds.

Not a joke on those fronts.

Arguably what is happening today is a natural and logical consequence of the century that has preceded.

Yes Nelson and Winnie Mandela were both purer than the driven snow.

South Africa had serious problems that needed correcting, but they never should have allowed the ANC into the hen house.

Back to the stone ages for South Africa.

No doubt parts of Africa are a message. Any theories on why?

IMO colonialism robbed the entire continent of the opportunity to develop in it's own way. What say you?

A lot of it is tribalism. The Shona people have been in control of Zimbabwe under Mugabi and have been brutal particularly to other tribes such as the Vindu to the south.

I am sure similar things are happening in South Africa -- depending on who the ruling tribe is.

And yes, colonialism sucked. I have no idea how to fix the mess. The direction of the ANC leadership has always been disastrous for common people.

In the few countries where any progress was made it was because of colonialism (see Kenya). The reason much of Africa remains a shith*le is that it was not colonized enough.

Absolutely. We should offer their farmers emergency refugee status. Most are Dutch descendants (I.e, smart, industrious people). They would be wildly successful here.

Do people really believe that it's a complete coincidence that in the exact same time in history, Replacement plans/diversity/mass migration and "refugees" are being pushed in the only majority white countries on this earth (U.S./Canada/Euro Countries)? It's genocide.

South Africa will become another sh!t hole 3rd world country torn apart by civil war because the different tribal factions will be fighting over all the spoils.

The only way this doesn't happen in Africa is when a tyrannical despot takes control and brutalizes or kills anyone who disagrees with them before they can organize any meaningful resistance.
