I personally believe that no one benefits from it. But it doesn't come down to what I believe. But, after seeing what the left tried to do to judge Kavanaugh, and after witnessing the routine atrocities committed by left-wing groups like antifa many people understand that there are those out there who would do far worse in trying to influence an election. Really I think the Kavanaugh event opened the eyes of a lot of people and forever aroused their suspicions as to what the left is capable of.
Do you realize that the shooter, who murdered 11 people, for no reason other than their religious beliefs, is an alt-right activist and white nationalist? You have to really stretch to suggest that the left is to blame.
