Seems like most every time we hear of another murder it's always someone that had been previously arrested for other violent crimes and had a soft on crime DA who worked to get them a lenient punishment. I know we just had one here in the DFW area where a kid, who was a minor at the time, was let off if he would turn over the 3 firearms he had in his possession. WTF. Same kid just a couple of months later went out and killed a person who was working at a Game Stop store over the weekend. Instead of protecting criminals maybe it's best t protect innocent law abiding citizens from the criminals.
