-2nd game in a row that McGriff has been invisible. Surprising. Hope it is a fluke and he gets his mojo back.
-Not one minute for Big Luke. It is appropriate, but a bit surprising. Ford and HCBU would have given him a few just to be nice.
-BA isn't good. He looks like what we thought he was when he signed. A guy who is better suited for a mid-major and probably a back up PG there. I thought it might just be a cold spell, but he hasn't done anything impressive in about 7 games in a row.
-Smith isn't much better, but the offense if better with him on the floor. He keeps the ball moving, and makes smart passes. The team has better spacing and looks in sync when he is out there.
-DZ is going to have to play for purposes of depth. If he isn't hitting his wide open threes, he brings nothing positive.
-I think I really like Boynton. I wasn't expecting to. But, it is so refreshing to watch a team that plays strong defense, makes smart decisions, and plays their ass off throughout the entire game. It has been a very long time.
-Sima is going to help. A lot. He will improve as the season progresses.
-This was a resume building win. Assuming a win against Tulsa, we will clearly make the NCAA tournament at 9-9, and will have a good shot at 8-10 (might need to add 1 win in the Big 12 tourny).
