Lots of memes and public calls for #release the memo but... pretty quiet now about releasing the rest of those FISA warrant applications. Maybe i'm wrong and we'll see the usual characters demanding the release.
Dan, you also watch how many times conservatives proclaim the investigation to be a failure. They have no idea what it's uncovered... but it's a failure. I say let that ol' law man do his job. He either finds something or he does not. I think a clean bill of health would be something an innocent POTUS would want so he can get ahead with his agenda. Maybe Biff's pulling an Obama and has his birth certificate the whole time and waits... and waits... and lets his opponents go publicly crazy alleging he doesn't have a birth certificate... and then rolls it out. I personally think they sure do act guilty. POTUS is a really important job and I'd think someone that has the honor of being a POTUS would be okay with transparency of basic things, like tax returns and letting the country evaluate whether he's financially or personally conflicted. What kind of President is against providing basic transparency of his business interests? That sure seems like a basic indicator of being corrupt.

It's such a simple, fair analysis that people from all walks of life should be able to agree with that in about .0004 seconds. The "drain the swamp" people keep finding argument after argument to prevent it, though.
I must confess I have a life beyond politics. I have a wife, two grown children, two in-laws, and two granddaughters that are the light of my life. I own a business, have employees, yada, yada, yada. My political interest is more on the philosophical side of things rather than the day to day back and forth frothing at the mouth between the two sides. Because of that I don’t follow the specifics of the arguments that closely. So I am unaware of the arguments the “drain the swamp” crowd are using to prevent the release of the pertinent information. Who are some of these people, and what are some of the arguments they are making?

This is a bit complicated so some may need to read it a couple of times to get the point but here goes:
While there is ample justification to be investigating links between elements of the Trump campaign and Russian interference in the election (ala Flynn, Page, and Mannafort), the thing that will result in a criminal referral or at the very least findings by the Special Counsel will revolve around what happened subsequent to allegations of collusion - generally characterized as obstruction of justice. That is especially true given the propensities of Trump to speak before thinking, his immense ego, and sense of entitlement.
So to answer the question - pretty much you got it right. Just not in the way you originally thought.
I am delighted that all this noise is frustrating the Trump agenda and will amplify impacts in the midterms.
