So, No Russian Hacking After All?

Well well well....
VIPS states two things with what they describe as a high degree of certainty: There was no Russian hack on July 5, and the metadata from Guccifer’s June 15 document release was “synthetically tainted” with “Russian fingerprints.”
Further casting doubt on the official narrative is the fact the the DNC’s computer servers were never examined by the FBI. Instead, the agency relied on a report compiled by Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity firm compromised by serious conflicts of interest — the major one being that the firm was paid by the DNC itself to conduct its work. Another is that the firm’s owner is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank known for its hostility toward Russia.

Mega, unfortunately this is just like the Michael Brown "Hands up don't shoot" deal (or we never landed on the moon etc). Once some of these people get it into their heads that The Russians hacked the election, they will never release it, short of having a lobotomy. Everything pertaining to an investigation and lack of evidence will be a cover up.
This whole line of pursuit reminds me of Man made global warming, excuse me, Global Warming, opps sorry Climate Change. If the story doesn't fit the narrative then simply move the goal posts. Why I vehemently hate this investigation past the salient issue (did the Russians hack the election or not) is the opportunity to go down ever rabbit hole out there to find something, anything, on these guys. Think I heard there are now 16 lawyers on this investigation, with probably hundreds of staff/investigators, whom I'm sure will find something not related to the election, which in turn will become the yuge distraction not related to Russian hacking.
For the libs here, I'm in favor of sending law breakers to jail so something extremely egregious pops up, send them to the fun house, otherwise those who publicly pushed this narrative need to stand before the few people left viewing television news and apologize. Stating with the Hildabeast (long may she stay involved in democrat politics though).

I agree where the rank and file team politics nerds are concerned, but Mueller's office and professional media coverage should be different mattters.
If this becomes definitive, there needs to be a reckoning.
