1. A Hall of Fame favorite son who happened to be an alcoholic.
2. The son of the alcoholic who was addicted to pain medication.
3. A good guy that could recruit everything except post players but couldn’t improve them.
4. A money whore that brought a felon with him to be an assistant and leaves after one season to chase the money.
5. A rookie who never had been a Head Coach before who won some with the good guy’s recruits and two with playing time left decided not to stay. In his roster overhaul, he has dismissed four players he recruited for poor character leaving us with a roster of nine total players of which two were walkons!
I would say the luck associated with this program is non-existent but many moves have been made by people in charge of hiring said coaches and the coaches themselves that has this program in this level of disarray and it is in disarray unless you consider any of this listed dysfunction to be acceptable!
And they wonder why they have trouble selling tickets to men’s basketball!
