Not my proudest moment as a parent but I still remember taking my daughter to the circus when she was younger. As we were walking up to enter there were a whole bunch of protestors there with their signs and judgemental stares. I told my daughter to say "Daddy, when can we go home and club a baby seal" while she was on my shoulders. They were left speechless as I proceeded inside to piss away $100 bucks on cheap souvenirs. I hate PETA and their ilk.
About 20 years ago PETA sent every owner of a pest control company a letter asking us to stop using rat poison to kill rats/mice claiming that death from said poisoning was inhumane. Rat poison works like Warfarin by making the rodent bleed to death internally. PETA suggested we use glue boards instead. I wrote them a letter in response and told them their suggestion was more inhumane as rodents sometimes gnawed their legs off to get away and that it was quite labor intensive to hold the glue board attached rodent under the water in the toilet until the bubbles stopped rising. Never heard back from them.
