Sling TV

I've got directv now. No real complaints $35 for the big package (1/2 price for life).

I have Sling TV. I watch through a FireStick. If you are OK with streaming it works great. I have the base package + ESPN with all the SEC networks for my LSU girl friend. Since all I care about on cable is sports, this meets 95% of our needs. If you want OSU sports you need to make sure that you can get a package with Fox sports though, since we don't get that I still go to watch parties for most of our games.

How much of a lag do you get? I am assuming there is a lag compared to Directv, et al. since it is streaming online.

I tried Sling and PSVue. The family and I preferred PSVue so that's what we went with. No disappointed at all. We had the supposed 6MB dsl from ATT and it still operated good. Just went over to a wireless connection from ProValue and its much better with a 7 MB speed. Of course ATT blows but that's another story.

I recommend PSVue.

Thanks, PSVue looks good, but no NHL Network, that might be a deal breaker for me.

Rarely get lag. Once and awhile you'll see a hickup and get some buffering and pixelation, but really pretty good. If you are a channel flipper you may not like it, because there is some delay while it loads a channel. But I mainly only use it to watch one thing I know I'm tuning into, so it doesn't affect me.
