I listen to The Ticket a lot while at work but I can only do so much sports radio during the day. Anyone have any recs for non-music talk and entertainment shows on Sirius? I'm trying to branch out, help me expand my mind.

Might not expand your mind much, but Howard Stern is the greatest radio personality out there. Amazing interviews. Lots of funny sophomoric humor. And in the last year or so the extremely dirty stuff has been very limited.

That's the biggest one of them all! Love both his channels!

Also when Howard is off or whatever is replaying on his channel doesn't strike a chord I'll listen to Covino and Rich on Channel 102. They are on at lunch time. Most days they have a replay during evening drive time too. They are a couple of early 30 yr old guys. Show focuses on basic guy talk and ball busting for that age range guy.

Really don't care for Covino and Rich.

Love Howard Stern.

Like Jason Ellis on the Faction channel as well. Replays in the morning and 3:00-6:00 Central time weekdays.

Gave these two an hour the past few days and I feel like I'm listening to teenage girls.

"So, I was like, this is the sh!t"

"I was like, eating at this restaurant, and like, the pizza was like, the bomb"

Like like like like like like like like like like like....

Never said I loved them but when there isn't anything else on I can tolerate them and occasionally they have a decent interview. They do overuse like, dude and bro though. I never really have listened to them longer than about 30 mins.

I have been listening to howard stern for the last 2 years. Only thing I cannot stand is the fact that I have only been listening for the last two years...

He is outstanding on most levels, but his interviews are unreal...

outside of that, I listen to the NFL channel, which is very rare...

Yeah, I started almost 9 years ago and wish I had for longer. He is very under rated an an interviewer. He is the best I have ever seen in conducting an interview. You can tell he and his staff put a ton of work into the prep. I think he has done a good job with moving the show to a more main stream type of show. He still does some out there stuff, but not nearly like he did when I first started listening.
