Been killing me for about a month. I thought it was just muscular so I cut back on lifting. Still hurts. Do I need to see and orthopedic? Anyone have any recommendations in Tulsa?
How do you stop sleeping in a certain position?Originally posted by Anodyne:
Do you sleep on your side? I tweaked a labrum playing basketball and it lingered forever, even after I stopped lifting overhead. Eventually I stopped sleeping on my side, and it healed pretty quickly. Now I do a lot of specialty shoulder training (face pulls, landmine presses, bottoms-up kettlebell presses, isometric holds, etc.). Feels good as new.
I always rolled onto my side when I started drifting off, out of habit more than anything. Instead, I just stayed on my back. I don't usually move around much once I'm out.Originally posted by 100TonsofOrangeFury:

Ran into the same issue when I started lifting last year... I was hitting the bench press hard... took about 3 weeks off from the bench and the pain started to go away...Originally posted by ShouldaBeenACowboy:
