We don't do AI's anymore, but have been here years ago and have friends that go still. If any of you were thinking about a fun adults only all inclusive stay I can give this fun place two thumbs up.

I found it on Cheaptickets.com after the promo code discount for $203.75 per night after taxes. Thats one hell of a deal on a place that can routinely run $400-500 per night and more higher season. I was looking at dates in Nov/Dec when we are going and just happened to see this.

If all inclusive adults only is something you are looking for this fall....just 2 hours 30 minutes away. Check it out.

Lets say you go 6 nights....$1,220 bucks. Throw in airfare for $700ish if you can find it. Bam. Under 2 grand for a week in paradise for two. A swim up room is only $10 more per night.

There ya go.

Oh we had friends talk us into going to a boutique hotel so we could go out and eat at restaurants and see the culture and go to bars, etc.....down in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Akumal, etc.....sure enough we got the bug.

We love going up and down the Riveria Maya and eating at our favorite restaurants...going to hidden beaches, and drinking at so many great dive bars, etc...

There is certainly nothing wrong with AI's. I understand people having only 1 week for a special vacation and they feel like they want to unwind....eat 5 star restaurants....have someone bring them miami vices to the pool or beach at their command and just veg.
There is also the feeling that you paid for all inclusive so you sure are not going to go out to town and eat and drink when its "free" at the resort.

Though that price has me thinking it might be a good way to end our vacation. 8 days of parties in Playa, and 3 days 2 nights to relax there....but I doubt the wife will want to.
