After nearly committing to Oklahoma State earlier this summer, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star safety Damuzhea Bolden said he has since backed off those plans and intends to wait things out some more.

That doesn't mean he doesn't like the Cowboys -- he just doesn't want to rush into a choice without having all his options in front of him. He realizes he's in the class of 2017 and there is time for things to change.

Bolden camped with Arizona State and USC in the offseason and said the Sun Devils could soon join the chase with an offer, which would be significant given that teammate Alex Perry -- who also camped with Oklahoma State this summer -- is already committed to Arizona State and the two have labeled themselves as a packaged deal. Bolden, who had seven tackles in a season-opening victory against Chandler (Ariz.) on Saturday, plans to return to Oklahoma State to see the Cowboys in action at some point during the season.

He was often around the football and looked very comfortable near the line of scrimmage covering receivers in the slot but also providing support against the run. Bolden should receive national attention this fall playing with such a high profile program.
