Anyone watching? I watched the first two episodes, and fast forwarded through most of the third. I found his work in 2004 as Ali G/Borat/Bruno to be hysterical, but it just doesn't seem to work that well this time around. If nothing else, it still shows how strong the power of denial and suggestion are, e.g. that Georgia politician dropping his pants and chasing Sacha around ass-first was insane, in the sense of "why would someone ever do that?"

I think it is all pretty funny. Shows how dumb some people are. Like the guy you pointed out. You and I would say, “ uh no. I am not doing that”. I wonder how many guys he tried that with before someone was dumb enough to do it...

I might be mellowing a bit, because all I could think was "this guy's life is being destroyed in real time" as he hobbled around with his pants down. You do make a good point, that that could've been the tenth attempt to get someone to do that. Hijacking my own thread, "The Human Behavior Experiments" is an interesting documentary on the subject of people doing weird things in cases of perceived authority. But yeah, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have dropped my pants and chased a guy who's wearing a bad Halloween costume.
