Ok, its summer time and slow, and no football, little else going one.
So what is the rotation going to look like?
My opinion is that 7 obvious players will play big minutes-- 20+ minutes/game. That's the 5 returning starters, plus 6-6 Watson and the 6-6 transfer Laurent. Whether Watson starts or DZ, it probably does not matter because both will play pretty big minutes. (Actually, if Watson starts, it DOES mean something because he'd be starting over a returning experienced starting senior--but my guess is that DZ starts and Watson comes in during the first few minutes)
Beyond that, the 6-2 Anderson has to play backup point (except when Waters does?). And Kalib will play backup center, except when McGriff moves over and we go small.
So that is 9 obvious players that should play every game. That leaves 3 freshmen that you probably don't want to depend on much in conference play. 6-8 Keylan Boone, 6-3 Chris Harris, and 6-10 Hiddle. All three could get decent minutes early during the easy schedule. But 9 is a good rotation number.
I know Hiddle just got here and I know he's a different kind of player than Kalib, but I'd sure like to hear how they compare in practice so far. They have to be guarding each other often in practice.
