Those 7 should get the majority of minutes going forward. It won't happen, but that would give us our best chance to win games.
The 8th guy? It should be Luke Major.
Demuth and Weathers should get spot minutes/mop up minutes as needed.
I apologize for bagging on those 2, but when Demuth plays, we might as well be 4 on 5. He just doesn't have what it takes to play at this level, and I don't think he ever will. When Weathers is in, our offense grinds to a halt, and our defense falls apart.
I get that Boynton wants to give both guys game experience so they can get better. I get that Boynton doesn't want to run his best 7 players into the ground. I think Boynton is either too nice, or not experienced enough to go with a 7-8 man rotation, and sit 2 guys that he likes. But, this is the best plan to maximize the potential of the guys on this roster.
