Under proper medical supervision (and in a safe setting), these compounds are proving to be extremely effective, safe, and require only low doses.

Much more effective than "drug cocktails" for mental health --- which don't even work well for many patients, and have terrible side effects.

NO backtracking from Jeff Sessions on studying this ---- highly-trained specialist doctors and scientists should have final authority to decide if they should be prescribed for individual patients:

"Dr. Roland R. Griffiths is a clinical pharmacologist at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Griffiths has been researching mood-altering compounds for over 40 years, has published over 360 times, and started the psilocybin research program at Johns Hopkins nearly 2 decades ago."

About interviewer: she's been on Joe Rogan podcast a few times -- highly recommended.

She has investigated the effects of micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) inadequacies on metabolism, inflammation, DNA damage, and aging and whether supplementation can reverse the damage. I

Had a friend pass away several years ago after a 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer. During his battle he researched if marijuana could help him. He said he found most of the research for the benefits of MJ were from foreign sources and that most US research he found was on the negative aspects with very little on the positive benefits. His MD prescribed Marinol to combat the nausea from chemo.

bout 1988 my friends grandmother passed from cancer

she was a great old school country lady who lived happy as a clam on lake altus in a trailer.

when we were cleaning out her effects i'll be damned if she didn't have a freezer bag full of weed.

My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. We tried to get her MD to prescribe Marinol to increase her appetite. He did but when I went to get the prescription I was told the DEA had denied it. We (brother and me) considered getting her a bag of dope but didn't. Many years later, we told my parents about this. Both were/are staunchly anti-MJ but were not upset at our efforts which was surprising.

This is such an easy button for Trump if he would wise up and use it. Sessions sounds like a loon regarding drug war policy.

How big a corner could you paint Schumer into by coming out with a legalization policy for pot?

I have read a little research into some psychedelic therapies being used to help fight addictions. They range from tobacco to heroin use. Pretty surprising results and a lot of the people who did this had better success rates at staying sober.

Funny, when I was in the service, we were told the bases had to conform with the laws of the state the base was in as far as buying/selling beer. While at Camp Pendleton in California, the law was 21 y/o to drink. I drank all sorts of beer at the enlisted club across from my barracks and was never carded and I wasn't 21.
