What's amazing (to me anyway) is that he includes the pic of him wearing the clown outfit that's shown. That's from the infamous movie that was never released and which Lewis reportedly had locked away. The Day the Clown Cried.
Set in a concentration camp, the movie revolved around a jewish guy forced to perform as a clown to keep the children entertained, so they would not resist or cause a problem. His last act making the kids laugh was to lead them into the "showers" where they were gassed.
Reportedly, he had his sights set on doing something along the lines of Life is Beautiful, but came up woefully short. Those who saw the movie at private screenings urged him to never release the movie and he followed their advice. I'm just surprised to see that he continued to use the same clown git-up as he did from the movie on an item like that.
