That said.

Republicans and Democrats are going to go down in the storm.

And we will all be better off for it.

Sadly, won’t fix the surveillance state.

It will just be reconfigured and have additional restrictions that only slow the new creatures down until they learn how to circumvent again.

Without Admiral Rogers the current abuses (and those to come) coming out likely never see the light of day.

And the bad actors likely continue with their coup and sedition with their puppetry in the media.

Regrettably it’s not just the puppetry in the media. A sizable chunk of the citizenry is in full agreement that we must be spied on so we can be safe from bad actors.
