Stopped reading at violent crackdowns on protests. If the protest were peaceful and the protesters were not breaking numerous laws police wouldn't break-up the protests and arrest protesters.

Aren't we relinquishing our democracy by not supporting Israel? My duly elected representatives passed a bill to provide weapons to Ukraine and Israel. And yet Emperor Biden has declared that we will withhold those weapons to Israel because we may not like how they get used. That is the definition of relinquishing our democracy. Biden had the chance to stop it using his VETO power, but he chose not to. I can only presume because he might not get his 10% cut from the Ukraine allocation if he vetoes the whole bill.
