You're right, I just assumed that since he is a Christian and he mentioned science was making the case for God that he was some how making that correlation to the Christian God. I have seen a lot of Christians do this before. They have their Faith, but then they want to jump on to something scientific or near death experiences to validate their religion. That can be a slippery slope. I apologize, the article just seemed like something people post on facebook.

Eric is stating an argument for theism using both cosmological and teleological arguments. Once the case for theism is made then you only have three theistic systems, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. All other beliefs are either pantheistic or atheistic.

From creation through Abraham (Judaism and Christianity) or Ibrahim (Islam), all three of those that you referenced are even arguably similar.
