The Dual-Results ranking is based on the final scores of dual meets, with no attention paid to the results of the individual wrestlers.
The Tournament and Dual-Component rankings are based on the rankings of the individual wrestlers, with no attention paid to the actual final scores of dual meets.
The Roster-Component ranking is similar to the Dual-Component ranking, except that redshirts' ratings are plugged in if they are better than the starter's rating.

If a wrestler is listed in parenthesis, that's because they are being treated as a backup (either because they have an inferior rating to a starter, or because they haven't competed either in a dual meet or as the scorer in a single-entry tournament such as CKLV, PSACs, or Reno).

SHP, I'm assuming it is all based on results this year? SOS a big component? Are there expectations for it to settle as the year goes on?

Yes, it is all based on results for this year. Last year's results matter as much as the results from 50 years ago.

As far as SOS as a component, it's effectively an offset, rather than a percentage, so I haven't been able to quantify it.
