Instead of calling it the OOC schedule, I call it the three patsies....because some conferences play 4 OOC and can schedule 3 of the 4 as patsies, while only playing 8 conference games.....and ND can always schedule as many patsies as they want sprinkled with good games as an independent.
Simple methodology......what is the Sagarin rating average of the three patsies.
1. Stanford: 66.33
2. ND: 85.33
3. Clemson: 85.66
4. tOSU: 94.66
5. Iowa: 101.33
6. OSU: 121
7. Alabama: 123.33
8. Baylor: 144.67
Yes, OSU and Baylor are #6 and #8, but LOOK at who comes in at #7.
My only purpose in this is I've heard (on ESPN) that OSU and Baylor are getting punished for their OOC. How in the world can our Conference PR people be so F'ing bad at their job.
No beef with ours. It is what it is.
Clemson played 1 out of 3 decent
ND played 1 out of 3 decent
Iowa played 1 out of 3 decent.
Stanford played 2 out of 3 decent
Alabama, tOSU, Baylor and OSU played zero
