-Is Underwood a mercenary? This situation is strikingly similar to him leaving SFA. Sounds like this was in the works for a few weeks. Bounced from the tourny and he is out the door.
-He isn't as young as most head coaches. I guess he can't be blamed for looking out for his long term financial security.
-It would be interesting to know what was going on with negotiations with Holder. I wonder if number of years was a sticking point. Can't blame Holder for being gunshy on giving too many years after the way things turned out with Ford.
-I can understand not being willing to bump him up to 3 million either, or even 2.75 million. What happens if he takes OSU to the Final Four next season and wants another bump? It is OK to play that game with a guy like Self, but HCBU isn't yet in that category of coach.
-I guess we can write off Evans now. I wonder if we will hold on to Carroll? Who else will seek greener pastures?
