--2 QBs. If you have 2 QBs, you don't have one. We figured that out after Weeden left. Ohio St and Alabama are trying to play multiple QBs and it's really hurting them. We have a package for Walsh, but they are trying to switch QBs mid-game. It's obviously hurting both teams. You'd think they would figure it out but Saban seems to be dead set on playing Bateman and Coker. Meyer said he probably needs to pick 1 now.
--USC & Sarkisian. How long does USC give Steve Sarkisian? He had the incident of him getting drunk at the team/booster event a few weeks ago. He underperformed last year and just got knocked off by an unranked Stanford team. Granted, they could go undefeated the rest of the way but you have to think his leash is getting shorter. Strong and Sarkisian are in their 2nd years and are both on hot seats. Could both the Texas and USC jobs be open at the end of the season? Likely not, but I could see one of them.
--Great teams. Are there any great teams in the country right now? What about in the big 12? Even though it's early, it just seems very wide open. I think of Michigan State maybe. Heck, even the big 12 is more wide open than I thought. TCU is riddled with injuries. Seth Russell is good, but he's no Bryce Petty. Also, Baylor's defense has really struggled to get off the field.
