So, the QB results are in. The outcome is pretty much in line with what you would expect but there are a couple of interesting thoughts/ takeaways I have after looking at the results. Let me know what you think about the results and if you agree/ disagree with my thoughts.

- I was surprised this was not last on every single ballot. It scored as high as 5 on someone's ballot and that blows my mind. We were so bad at QB that year. So bad.

vs. 2008 - This is really odd to me. The QB position was statistically almost identical but ZMFR was a year older in 2008. My expectation was that 2008 would be ranked more favorably than 2007. My guess is that Bobby Reid as the backup was given a lot more weight than ZMFR improving and Alex Cate as the backup (which is 100% fair).

& 2010 - these came in #1 and #2 respectively. I don't think many would argue these results. 2011 at #1 got slightly more votes than 2005 at #10. 2011 was voted as low as #8...that person should be horse whipped.

vs. 2013 - This is the most interesting one to me. These turned out to be ranked almost dead even. This surprises me because, to this day, there will still be hand wringing threads about losing Wes Lunt. However, when we as a board voted to rank the talent of the two QB years, we gave little to no value to Wes Lunt vs. no Wes Lunt in back to back years. IMO, Chelf and JW didn't really change between 2012 and 2013 so it isn't as if their improved talent outweighed the loss of Lunt. Given how much grief Gundy continues to get about Lunt transferring, I fully expected 2012 to be a reasonable amount above 2013.

- This came in a tad higher than I expected. Many people obviously gave this year credit for MMFR as evidenced by the 20 votes that put 2014 in the top 5 (which I am totally fine with). My vote was heavily weighted by Daxx. However, my 2015 vote would be much different (see the RB survey which will be posted shortly).
