Compelling case that Russian influence caused a lot of Hillary's problems leading up to the election, but certainly not all. No huge new news, other than the fact that the Mueller probe seems pretty minor compared with addressing the real issue--an attack by a foreign power.

Bigger news to me is that Putin's hackers and trolls may be behind a crapload of the civil discord we've seen since Trump came into office. A lot of the antifa and white supremicist stuff on social media isn't even real, it's old school commie propaganda aimed at tearing the US apart.

Watching this show you're left appreciating the sophistication of that evil f*$^ker the same way you had to when OBL pulled off 9/11.

Someone else said in another thread....Russia is playing both sides of the aisle with the help of "useful idiots" on both sides.

I agree. I'll take it further, though. The most useful idiots are the ones that believe all the idiots are on the other "side" and refuse to acknowledge that they've got issues too...all while trying to demonize everything about those they don't agree with.

The first few minutes are interesting.

Every time I see James Clapper and CIA John Brennan given a platform to weave narratives a little part of me dies inside.

Other than that, it kept my attention for the most part and definitely gave me more insight into Putin's worldview. It also very clearly portrayed Obama as the community organizer he is. Not that we didn't already know, but the documentary confirmed Putin played him like a fiddle. Embarrassing.

What Obama could've been skillful with he failed to execute, then of course had no shot at dealing with bare knuckles brawlers like Putin. At least he tried to give Putin a stern talking to once or twice.

If we haven't already, we need to put our 100 best hackers on making his bank accounts vanish or something and quit taking it up the ass from him.

Re "sides"....

You're much too intelligent and well-read not to be familiar with this:

You might want to think about how you're buying into to the Hegelian Dialectic yourself and how you've been duped into taking a side.

I personally reject the idea that all phenomena reflect a conflict between pairs of unified opposites.

Listening right now. Interesting and rings very true to me. Mostly...except for the left "started it" talk. Both the extreme left and extreme right have been trying to move the middle for a long time.

I think the left is way more aggressive in their rhetoric, it's company wide and they're looking for any chance to club you with it.

The rights just tired of being clubbed. Keep telling people that have kept their head down, busted ass, and been good citizens that they're the problem and you get Trump. Trumps a movement like Mega said away from the govt regulated stupidity. That scares the shit outta Washington.

I don't buy that for a second.

But that's just me.

I do understand that's the company line of the right and #MAGA adherents. I just don't buy it.
